Workspace Ownership Change Notification

I would like to be notified when ownership of a workspace is changed from me to someone else.

    There is a notification that sends you an email if there are any changes in the sharing of the sheet. Maybe that will work for the workspace too, if the sheet is in the workspace.

    I "inherited" over 30 workspaces (and a ton of sheets) when some people left the company. I'm in the process of getting them transferred to the correct people. It's not worth the time to set up a notification that may or may not work. It would be nice if the system notified you the same as when sheet ownership changes.

    If you are the owner of the Workspace then another user cannot take ownership without your explicit permission being granted.

    The only time another user can remove you as an owner without prior permission is if you own none of the sheets within the Workspace. Otherwise they have to ask first.

    Changing ownership of workspaces is not entirely straight forward, especially when sheets within them are Owned by different people. Save as new is a good workaround, but I suggest you take control and after outputting a Sheet access report, you work through your allocation carefully BUT stay in control.

    The ultimate goal is to transfer the sheets and workspaces to the correct new owners and for me to get out completely. I'm the middle person and don't need/want to own these things. Once I have all the sheets transferred, then someone else can take ownership of the workspace; when they do I don't get notified. I'm trying to follow up with everyone on all of this so I currently need to look and see if I still have the workspace or not.
