Row Discussions - Two Different Discussion

inSmartsheet Basics

Good afternoon,

We have a sheet that we have reports off of, some reports are only accessible to our vendors and some are only accessible to our clients,

Is there a way to keep the discussions separate so we can have discussions with vendor and not let client see, and vice versa?

    You could have two rows for each. (one for Vendors and one for Clients)

    Another option would be to have the conversations in specific columns.

    Would any of those options work/help?

    Hi@Andrée Starå, thank you for feedback, the two different rows would not be an option as our sheets arent built for that. How do you have discussions in any columns other that the discussion column? thanks

    Happy to help!

    You'd inform and share the specific columns and use them to add comments/discuss. It's a workaround so it won't work as the conversation feature.

It can work, but more like a compromise way. Editing on a report is less convenient.<\/p>

It would be better for me to set access right to each column.<\/p>
