Creating a new community
I noticed there are no communities for Professional Services firms or Engineering groups. Engineers and Land Planners will use Smartsheet differently from the Construction group. Would it be possible to create a group for this industry? It would be incredibly helpful to collaborate with those in the same field. Thank you!

Maxwell Griffith Employee AdminUnderstandable, and apologies for the confusion.
We'll put this on the roadmap for future Group releases!
In the meantime, if you have any questions particularly geared towards Civil Engineering, I recommend posting a discussion within our general discussion board under Using Smartsheet and/or our Welcome to the Community categories. Within these two communities you'll have a large network of individuals to speak with that we're sure can guide you in the right direction.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to continue the conversation here.
We'll be sure to make an announcement if and when a group like this becomes live!
Thank you for your patience, Melissa!

Maxwell Griffith Employee AdminHey Melissa,
This is definitely something we'd consider down the road, but in the interim, I highly recommend driving discussion within the IT Professionals Group!
Here you'll find lots of valuable information and insights from individuals that are a part of the industries you mentioned.
Keep an eye out for Professional Services Firms and/or Engineering Groups to be joining our Community... this platform is quickly evolving and we'll be adding many new groups along the way!
Have a great day ahead!
Best,
Maxwell from Smartsheet

I am not an IT professional. I am from a Civil Engineering Firm.
